Important AP Announcement – IMPORTANT:  I want to take this opportunity to announce that Mary G. Montgomery High School has been selected to become the premier AP-theme school in our district!  The board voted on this selection and approved it at the most recent board meeting on Tuesday night.  With this being said, the academic reputation and the rigor in ALL of our classes will be exponentially enhanced.  The implementation process will begin very quickly.  The plan is to DOUBLE the number of AP courses offered and taught on this campus by next school year.  This increase in offerings will allow us to offer more AP courses than any high school in Mobile County.  The logistics have not been completely worked out – but rest assured – with the quality of teachers and students that are currently on this campus the future of our school, our community, and our district is very, very bright!  Congratulations and buckle up …
